Secure Access Washington (SAW) is generally used by most local governments such as cities and counties.
If you do not have a SAW account, you can create one by clicking the "Login with SAW" button.
Then, on the next page click the "Sign Up" button.
If you already have an account with the State Auditor's Office, make sure to use the same email address to register with SAW.
If you do not use the same email address, you will not have the same access to our online services that you had in the past.
In addition, to better protect your personal information, SAW implements extra security measures that will require you to send an email,
text or phone call to authenticate your identity.
Logging in with Microsoft Entra ID
Entra ID is generally used by state agencies.
If you try to use Entra ID and receive a login prompt, then you most likely will not be able to use Entra ID; you will need to
use SAW instead. Entra ID does not require you to create an account.
It will use the account that you used to log into your computer for access.
New users
For users who are new to our services, you will be prompted for additional information after logging in such as which government you work for.
This will be asked only once, and you can change that information later by clicking on the "My Account" link in the upper right after logging in.
